OU dropped a 3-1 contest against RV Baylor on Saturday night in Norman. After Baylor won the first set 25-20, the Sooners tied it up with a wild 36-34 win in set two. The 36-34 period is the second longest in OU history during the 25-point rally scoring era (2008-present), second only to a 37-35 second set against North Dakota State on Sept. 1, 2012. However, the Bears closed it out with 27-25 and 25-21 wins in the final frames.

Senior Alyssa Enneking and sophomore Kylee McLaughlin both finished the contest with double-doubles, their 14th and 11th of the season, respectively. Enneking totaled 21 kills and 11 digs while McLaughlin led the match with 41 assists and added 10 digs. Brianna Kadiku and Sarah Sanders led the match with nine blocks apiece, a career high for Sanders. Keyton Kinley paced the Sooners with 27 digs, her highest total in a four-set match this season.

Kinley Digs Up National Rankings

With 4.91 digs per set this season, Keyton Kinley currently ranks 59th nationally. She ranks fifth nationally among athletes in Power Five conferences, trailing Iowa’s Molly Kelly (5.07), Michigan’s Jenna Lerg (5.07), Arkansas’ Okiana Valle (5.04) and Notre Dame’s Ryann DeJarld (5.01).

Kinley currently leads the Big 12 with 4.91 digs per set and 432 total digs in all matches this season. Additionally, she ranks first in the conference with 5.69 digs per set and 239 total digs in league matches.
