LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas’ next-50 % comeback downed Oklahoma on Wednesday as the Sooners fell 88-79 to the Jayhawks inside of Allen Fieldhouse.
OU (5-14, 1-7 Major 12) led by two at the 50 % and jumped out to a 11-stage advantage early in the 3rd quarter, but foul issues and turnovers doomed the Sooners down the stretch. Kansas (12-7, 2-6 Major 12) scored 33 factors off of OU’s 25 turnovers and took advantage at the cost-free toss line, knocking down 32-of-34 tries (.941) at the stripe.
The Jayhawks outscored OU by a 46-35 margin in the next 50 %. With the activity tied at 74-74, Kansas closed the activity on a 14-5 operate to pull absent.
