Brown was carted off the field with an apparent left ankle injury in Oklahoma’s 39-27 Big 12 Championship win over Texas. He later returned out of uniform with a boot on his left leg.
Brown recorded 54 yards with five receptions Saturday afternoon, and has caught for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.
Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said later on ESPN that the Sooners’ medical team will evaluate Brown and determine what to do going forward.
“We’d certainly love to have him, but I think as we proved yesterday we’ve got other guys that are more than capable of stepping up if he’s not ready,” Riley said.
