Alright, have we all decompressed after the most stressful Friday… ever?
Well, that’s partially true, but OU fans are still stressing over some of the other games that have yet to take place. No. 10 Ohio State (10-1) hosts No. 4 Michigan (10-1) at 11 a.m., and the Sooners are in the uncomfortable position of having to root for the Buckeyes. If tOSU comes out on top in Columbus, OU’s chances of making the CFP with a win over Texas become pretty decent.
If it doesn’t go down, we’re forced to pull for an unlikely upset in the Notre Dame-USC game. USC is an absolute mess, but at least there are athletes on the roster. Granted, I grasped at the same straws when the Irish faced FSU, and we all know what happened there. It would appear that the Irish are simply a very good football team, so if neither result goes in OU’s favor (or even if OSU beats UM), we’ll all become Northwestern Wildcats if the Sooners get revenge next Saturday. Purple Stanford came very close to beating Michigan earlier in the year, and they’re definitely capable of beating this Ohio State team, so there would still be hope.
Anyway, let’s talk about today’s events! We’ve got a lot of rivalry games on the schedule, so let’s try to enjoy this. TV/streaming info is below (ET).
