Men’s Gym Adds Three For 2019

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma men’s gymnastics program welcomed three signees from the 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday.

Oklahoma head coach Mark Williams voiced his excitement to welcome Lazarus Barnhill and Jack Freeman from the Houston area and Cypress Academy of Gymnastics to OU. The Sooners also welcomed in Brayton Williams of GymTek Academy in Knoxville, Tenn. “We feel like we got some really solid guys that know how to work,” said Williams.

The Oklahoma men’s gymnastics team looks to defend its fourth-straight national championship in 2019 when it begins the season in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the Rocky Mountain Open on Jan. 12.
