NORMAN — The availability of Jamuni McNeace and the health status of his right ankle has been an unpredictable saga since early December, but the Oklahoma center said he will “for sure” play Tuesday night at Texas Tech.
McNeace re-injured his right ankle Saturday afternoon when Oklahoma State center Yor Anei landed on McNeace.
“I was gonna roll it, but then I just fell down cause I didn’t want to risk the roll,” McNeace said after practice Monday. “He just landed on the other side of my ankle. It pushed that part to the ground. It hurt pretty bad.”

McNeace played 11 minutes against the Cowboys, his most playing time since Dec. 18.
McNeace hasn’t been fully healthy since late November. While it has appeared that his return has been rushed at times, McNeace said that isn’t the case.
