NORMAN – Oklahoma cross country freshman Haley Herberg concluded her debut season with the Sooners Saturday morning in the women’s 6K race at the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wis.

Herberg crossed the line on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in 20:56.9 to place 78th out of 253 participants.

The Mission Viejo, Calif., native concludes her freshman season at Oklahoma with four top-five individual finishes to go along with All-Big 12 Conference honors and All-Region recognition from the USTFCCCA. 

The Sooners now shift their focus to the indoor track and field season which begins Jan. 12 in Lubbock, Texas, at the Texas Tech Corky Classic.
