Theo Wease originally committed to the Oklahoma Sooners back in February of 2017. After backing away and committing once again, the five-star wide receiver is finally an OU signee.
Wease received offers from a who’s-who of college football powers during his process and gave strong consideration to the likes of Alabama and Texas A&M. However, OU’s staff — and what they were selling — was too tough to beat.
Wease will be joined by the likes of No. 1 QB Spencer Rattler, fellow elite WR Trejan Bridges and four-star TE Austin Stogner in this impressive 2019 Oklahoma class.
The Allen (TX) standout is listed as the No. 3 WR in the country and the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Texas for this cycle.
At 6’3” and possessing some elite leaping ability, Wease isn’t going to be losing many jump-ball battles during his time in Norman. What makes Wease a sure-fire five-star prospect, though, is how well-rounded he is as a receiver. His route-running is otherworldly for a player of his size, so the possibilities are pretty much endless for this kid.
