Three-star OT Finley Felix has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Oklahoma Sooners next season. Felix is a Coffeyville Community College (KS) transfer who originally did not garner much attention from top programs coming out of high school. His story is reminiscent of OU senior guard Ben Powers, who was also under-recruited out of high school and found his way to Norman via the Kansas JuCo route. Felix also held several other offers including Iowa State, Missouri, Ole Miss, West Virginia, and Mississippi State.
Felix’s experience will help him compete for immediate playing time on an offensive line that will have to replace at least two starters in 2019. Look for Felix to battle it out with guys like Tyrese Robinson, Marquis Hayes, Brey Walker, and Darrell Simpson for a spot on the depth chart in spring practice. Felix has a chance to add to the growing legacy at O-Line U.
