Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams came very close to giving Kyler Murray and Oklahoma some extra bulletin board material ahead of Saturday’s Orange Bowl.
Williams was asked about Murray at Orange Bowl media day on Thursday afternoon, and appeared to stop himself from throwing a little bit of shade toward the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner.
“…But I feel like Kyler Murray is not what everybody…,” Williams said before abruptly ending his sentence.

Whether or not Williams was about to talk trash is up to interpretation.
It’s worth noting Williams could end up becoming Murray’s biggest problem on Saturday. The sophomore defensive tackle has eight sacks and 18 tackles for loss on the season.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. on Dec. 29. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
