The Oklahoma Sooners continue to widen the gap between themselves and every other Big 12 team on the recruiting trail.
247 composite four-star cornerback Woodi Washington, out of Murfreesboro, Tenn., announced his commitment to Lincoln Riley’s squad on Twitter Friday morning.
Here’s what he said in the note above exactly as he typed it:
“First I would like to thank the man above, without him none of my blessings would be possible. My second thank you goes to my parents, who are my biggest supporters of my dreams and goals. I also want to thank my Oakland High School coaching staff and teammates who are the best that any player could have. Saying all of that I would like to bring my recruiting process to an end and Commit to The University of Oklahoma!!! #OUDNA #BOOMERSOONER ⭕ #OHSPATS”
Washington held offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others. Oklahoma’s class is now the fourth best in the nation according to 247 trailing only Alabama, Texas A&M and LSU.
